We were thrilled to host a special evening recently, honoring some of the women I admire most in the design world, who lifted me and my business up during this last year and who have become dear friends.  We set the table with our signature entertaining staples and special finds from around the world and let the champagne and conversation flow!

Here is a sneak peek into how we prepared for the evening with our favorite Found by Maja pieces all of which are perfect for summer entertaining!

We start by setting the table with our signature linens from Summerill & Bishop. The tablecloths and napkins are perfect for both for their gorgeous designs and colors, and for their highest quality linen which make them a breeze to launder.

Next we layer our placemats from La Gallina Matta which are a coated linen and impervious to staining. I love all the new colors we have in store, both in placemats, coasters and cocktail napkins.

Down the middle of the table, we placed a variety of candlesticks in cobalt blue and blush pink interspersed with Swedish brass candlesticks and taper candles.

Adorning the placemats our, new shipment of our gorgeous terre mêée plates from the Parisian design store Casa Lopez and handmade in the south of France.  They are marbleized in my favorite hues of blue and green and absolutely gorgeous!  We also have serving dishes with a white trim that makes them look so Provençal.  Trés chic for your summer table!

 

No table setting is complete for us without beautiful glassware, both vintage and new.  Here we layered a set of Val St. Lambert cobalt blue cut crystal glasses in a variety of sizes for champagne and wine.

As a water glass, we used the chicest Murano glasses by Davide Fiun in the softest blush pink hue.
